Join a dynamic engineering team as a Forward Deployed Engineer, reporting to senior engineering leadership. You'll embed directly with key clients to build and ship custom solutions on top of the core platform, then collaborate to integrate successful features into the broader product. This role offers end-to-end ownership, bridging customer needs with product evolution at a high-growth fintech firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embed with high-value clients to understand their workflows and deploy custom features directly into their environments
- Build integrations, workflows, and features using platform APIs to address real customer challenges on tight timelines
- Work across the full stack with modern tools including TypeScript, React, NestJS, Postgres, Prisma, AWS services, Vercel, and Docker
- Identify reusable patterns from client implementations and partner with core engineering to productize them
- Prototype rapidly against live workflows, debug production issues in real time, and iterate based on feedback
- Design solutions with a focus on correctness and auditability for financial infrastructure
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders including client operators, engineers, and leaders
4-10 years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally in customer-facing roles
Experience owning projects end-to-end from scoping and building to shipping and iterating with customers
Production experience with TypeScript, NestJS/Node, Postgres, and AWS
Background building complex asynchronous systems
Comfortable delivering scrappy, fast solutions in dynamic environments
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
Preferred:
Fintech or payments infrastructure experience including blockchain, transactional systems, or fiat banking integrations
0→1 product engineering at a VC-backed startup or forward deployed role
Recent early-stage startup experience before Series C
Startup mindset with familiarity for long hours and full ownership
Exposure to both large-scale payment systems and early-stage environments
