You'll own platforms that enable rapid shipping of scalable, enterprise-grade systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build internal platforms and AI loops to accelerate company iteration speed
- Strengthen security, compliance, and operational readiness
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, deployments, and developer environments
- Evaluate and implement new tooling, storage, and compute systems
- Enable non-technical staff to build and ship improvements safely
- Empower technical teams to deliver scalable systems faster
- Resolve production incidents with immediate fixes and long-term solutions
5+ years in platform engineering with production experience in B2B SaaS environments
Hands-on with CI/CD, Kubernetes, containerization, cloud deployments, and database migrations
Startup experience, ideally post-Series A through growth stages
Strong product sense with history of building and shipping products
Self-sufficient with focus on customer happiness
Able to work on-site in San Francisco; hybrid for exceptional candidates
Degree from a top-tier university
Preferred:
Previous experience as a founder or founding engineer
Background in martech or data/analytics tooling
AI-first engineering mindset with dev tooling setup for AI-assisted development
Experience operating at the edge of AI development
Learned from decades of enterprise-grade engineering patterns
