About the role

Seeking an experienced Supplier Industrialization Engineer to build and develop a mechanical supply base from the ground up. The role focuses on taking products from new product introduction through mass production while serving as the primary technical interface with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and build the mechanical supply base from supplier identification through volume production
- Act as primary technical representative with suppliers to resolve issues independently
- Provide DFM feedback to Product Engineering to optimize designs for high-volume manufacturing
- Vet supplier capabilities in die casting, metal injection molding, stamping, and rolling
- Lead bring-up of new supplier tooling and production lines to meet quality and capacity targets
- Drive root cause corrective action initiatives with suppliers to improve quality and reliability

Requirements

3 to 6 years of experience in supplier industrialization or development for mechanical components
Experience building a supplier base from the ground up
Proven track record taking parts from NPI through ramp to mass production
Background in high-volume manufacturing environments such as consumer electronics or automotive
Strong ownership of supplier development processes
Expertise in multiple mechanical manufacturing processes including die casting and stamping
Willingness to travel extensively up to 50 to 75 percent in the near term
