Founding AI Solutions Engineer role supporting revenue growth at an early-stage AI company. This senior position works directly with the CEO and go-to-market team to manage enterprise and developer accounts from initial engagement through production deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery and own solution design across the full sales cycle from first call through close
- Build working prototypes and reference integrations using TTS, STT, LLM Router, and Realtime API capabilities
- Contribute technical expertise during forecast calls and key account meetings
- Translate customer requirements into product feedback and roadmap input for the R&D team
- Establish SE function foundations including POC templates, playbooks, and integration documentation
5 to 10 years in a customer-facing technical pre-sales role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect
Hands-on Python coding ability to write production-quality integration code
Deep familiarity with AI/ML APIs including LLMs, TTS/STT speech models, and streaming or realtime APIs
Startup experience with proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work several days per week
