We are looking for a Founding Engineer with 3-7 years of experience to join an early-stage AI startup's founding team and help build their Enterprise Intelligence platform from the ground up. You are an entrepreneurial, product-minded full-stack engineer who has lived the 0-to-1 journey before, whether as a founder, founding engineer, or early technical hire. You thrive in ambiguity, talk directly with customers, and ship production-quality AI-powered products quickly. This is a true 0-to-1 role where you will work across product, infrastructure, agents, evals, and customer workflows, turning early customer pull into a durable platform.
What will you be doing?
Lead the core platform development for agents, including triggers, tools, approvals, evals, memory, observability, and workflow execution.
End to end product ownership, from customer discovery and technical design through implementation, launch, and iteration.
Work across the full stack to build core Enterprise Intelligence surfaces.
Shape the product roadmap, technical architecture, engineering practices, and culture of the company.
- 3-7 years of experience in full-stack engineering, AI-native
- 0-to-1 experience as a founder or founding/early engineer at a startup
- ML background: shipped AI-powered product features in production
- Worked on products at an AI lab or open-source environment
- Full-stack proficiency; backend development required, full-stack a plus
- AI-native experience with LLM APIs, RAG, agent orchestration, or evals
- Immersed in the AI development ecosystem; opinionated and passionate about the future of coding with AI
- Comfortable speaking directly with customers for discovery and debugging
- Familiarity with AI coding tools and ability to work with agentic systems preferred
- Able to work autonomously and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Open to ex-founders or those from early-stage startups
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
