A fast-scaling AI startup focused on the home services industry is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to serve as the critical liaison between customers and the product organization. You will be embedded with enterprise home services operators running $100M+ businesses, building and deploying AI agents that drive real revenue outcomes, while shaping the future of the platform from the field.
What will you be doing?
Building and deploying AI agents (voice, text, phone) for enterprise home services customers.
Owning customer relationships end-to-end, acting as the primary point of contact for implementation, onboarding, and ongoing success.
Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design to translate customer pain points into platform improvements.
Handling post-sales implementation and customer success responsibilities, ensuring customer delight and account expansion.
Collaborating directly with founders and team leads to contribute to the product roadmap.
- 1-5 years of experience as a forward deployed engineer or customer-facing software engineer
- Shipped production code in a customer-facing engineering role
- Strong Python and SQL skills; comfortable with REST APIs
- Frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Highly customer-facing; comfortable presenting to C-level executives
- Startup experience preferred; previous founder or founding engineer (0-to-1) a plus
- Experience building AI agents is a plus
- Interest in building AI for the home services, construction, and remodeling industries
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills; able to handle long work hours
- Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or STEM field from a top 30 school
