We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with 2+ years of experience to own end-to-end AI deployments at Fortune 500 customers in financial services and semiconductors. You are a systems thinker who sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and business - someone who has led AI implementations at enterprises, understands agent-driven development, and can translate complex business problems into platform-level solutions. This is a founding-level opportunity to build out the deployment function, working directly with leading enterprise customers. You will have extremely high ownership, managing entire customer accounts from executive stakeholders down to end business users.
What will you be doing?
Owning entire enterprise customer accounts end-to-end - strategizing, deploying, and scaling AI agent systems across firms in private equity, investment banking, insurance, tax and audit, and semiconductors.
Embedding directly with Fortune 500 customers to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and business problems, then architecting agentic solutions on the platform.
Feeding product insights from customer deployments back into the core platform, shaping the product roadmap based on real-world signal.
Collaborating closely with the founding FDE team and leadership to determine deployment strategy, staffing needs, and how to scale the function.
Building custom AI workflows, data integrations, and agent systems tailored to customer needs - working within platform constraints and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
- Prior FDE, AI implementation lead, or applied AI team role at a company like Palantir, Scale, Databricks, or on an applied AI team within financial services
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI agent systems (not just chatbots - actual agentic workflows, connectors, skills)
- Based in New York (preferred) or San Francisco; on-site required
- 2-6 years of experience in forward deployed engineering, AI implementation, or applied AI roles at enterprise-facing companies
- Domain experience in financial services (PE, IB, tax/audit, insurance) or semiconductors
- Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript; has built production APIs or data pipelines
- Systems thinker who can rapidly learn unfamiliar business domains and translate problems into technical solutions
- Willing to travel up to 50%, especially if SF-based
- Ex-founder or built/shipped AI agent systems end-to-end
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and enterprise integrations
- Degree in CS, engineering, math, physics, or related technical field from a top school
- Dual degree combining business and engineering (nice-to-have)
- Blend of engineering and business acumen; experience with agent systems preferred
