We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer with 5-15 years of experience to own the full technical delivery lifecycle for wellness clients, from pre-sales demos to post-sale integration and production deployment. You will be the engineer-architect hybrid building AI-powered systems end-to-end for digital and location-based fitness providers, while shaping the core product along the way.
What will you be doing?
Own full technical delivery for wellness clients: building demos, gathering requirements, running design sessions, implementing, and testing production systems end-to-end.
Architect and build AI agents and insight products by pulling from the platform's tools, including feature store, knowledge base, agent frameworks, and context packages.
Integrate with client data systems including CRMs and wellness applications, handling data ingestion, ETL pipelines, and heterogeneous data sources.
Collaborate directly with clients' data and technical teams on video calls, translating their workflows into production AI-orchestrated solutions.
Feed field learnings back into the core platform (about 10-20% of time), influencing product direction through real-world client patterns.
- Production engineering experience shipping customer-facing software: must have built complex, end-to-end systems (not just scoped or prototyped)
- Strong software architecture skills: ability to design full systems, make integration decisions, and articulate tradeoffs (architecture diagrams, API design, fallback strategies)
- Entrepreneurial, startup-minded engineer: founding engineer or high-growth startup background preferred; comfortable wearing many hats and making autonomous decisions
- Fluency in modern languages (Python, TypeScript, Node.js, JavaScript) with working knowledge of data engineering patterns and cloud infrastructure
- Polished client-facing communication: able to present on video to executives and run technical working sessions with customer teams
- Experience owning full technical delivery for clients (pre-sales, scoping, and post-sale integration)
- Experience building and deploying customer-facing software systems end-to-end (production engineering, solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting)
- Ability to design end-to-end system architectures and produce complete architecture diagrams
- 5-15 years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience building data and machine learning pipelines (PySpark, ETL/ELT, unstructured data, document ingestion, predictive models)
- Fluency in modern programming languages (JavaScript/Node, TypeScript, Python, Next.js, React)
- Experience as a founding engineer, startup co-founder, startup CTO, or software engineer at a high-growth startup
- Experience building LLM systems or AI agents (prompt engineering, function calling, structured output, guardrails, observability)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
