Join a high-growth, Series B startup as a Forward Deployed Engineer to build and deploy AI agents directly within major healthcare systems. You will serve as the critical link between clinical stakeholders and a production AI platform, translating complex medical workflows into scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet directly with physicians, hospital IT, and clinical champions to identify workflows and pain points
- Scope and translate loosely defined clinical ideas into production-ready AI agents
- Build and deploy agents end-to-end, including rigorous evaluations to ensure performance
- Iterate on deployed agents based on clinical guidelines and operational feedback
- Own the full lifecycle from identifying a technical issue to deploying a fix in a matter of days
1 to 6 years of experience in a full-stack or forward-deployed engineering role
Proven experience with Python, Rust, Kubernetes, and AWS
Strong proficiency in backend development with Python and frontend experience with React/TypeScript
Demonstrated ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders to scope projects
A track record of high achievement, such as experience at a high-growth startup or a top-tier academic institution
