We are looking for a Founding Forward-Deployed Engineer with 1-5 years of experience. You should be technical, AI-native and comfortable in front of customers. You'll help bring wearable AI co-pilots powered by agentic vision-language models to technicians at some of the world's largest data center and energy grid companies. As the first hire after the two co-founders, you'll embed with multi-billion-dollar enterprise customers and turn messy, undocumented field knowledge into AI that works on real industrial sites.
What will you be doing?
Embed with field technicians to find gaps in their processes and knowledge bases, then structure that knowledge into a form the AI can use.
Build fast, scrappy integrations and RAG pipelines into customer systems like ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce and learning management systems.
Design custom AI evals for each vertical from small amounts of real-world data, and work with engineering to improve the models.
Own the customer lifecycle from late-stage demos through onboarding, rollout across the customer's sites and ongoing customer success.
Bring field feedback and feature requests back to the product team, and lead change management inside large legacy enterprises.
- Customer-facing experience deploying software with enterprise, industrial, energy, or defense clients
- Builds integrations and data pipelines (APIs, webhooks, or ETL connecting 3+ systems, or enterprise RAG)
- Travel domestic 25% of the time
- 1-5 years of experience as a forward-deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or implementation engineer for industrial/enterprise customers. Must be technically hands-on (ships integrations/code themselves), not pure pre-sales, deployment strategist, or non-coding consulting
- Integrated LLM/RAG into a customer workflow and built evals to measure it
- Owned conversion of a pilot/POC into a paid deployment at an industrial or legacy enterprise
- Enterprise/industrial systems integration (ServiceNow, SAP, CMMS, field-service/ERP platforms, APIs)
- Demonstrated hands-on modern AI depth: has built/shipped agentic or RAG AI features themselves
- Translates ambiguous non-technical field requirements into shipped product specs
- Early-stage member or founding team who owned deployment/sales
- Technical degree OR demonstrated equivalent deployment/shipping record
- Preference for candidates from Palantir or similar, with industrial sector experience
- AI-forward, strong engineering skills, able to handle incomplete data and custom integrations
