An established precision metal components manufacturer serving the heavy truck industry is hiring a Compliance Manager for a hands-on, growth-driven role at its Allentown, PA facility. Quality systems are the primary focus, with EHS as a secondary priority. The role may include 0 or 1 direct report and is built for a doer who can deliver without needing a large team.
Responsibilities include maintaining and improving the QMS (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), document control, internal, customer, and third-party audits and corrective actions, and Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA). The role also covers supplier compliance, ISO 14001 EMS, environmental permits, OSHA compliance and safety programs, incident investigations, and regulatory and legal requirement tracking.
This is a direct-hire, onsite position. Compensation includes base salary plus bonus opportunity. Relocation is negotiable; local candidates are preferred.
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Management or related (equivalent experience considered)
- 5-8 years in compliance, quality, safety, or manufacturing systems management
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA
- Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- Strong auditing, root cause, documentation, and project management skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Machining or IATF experience required (both ideal)
- Preferred: IATF/ISO lead or internal auditor, ISO 14001 auditing, OSHA 30, CSP, CHMM
- Base salary plus bonus opportunity
