We are looking for a Robotics Hardware Engineer with 1+ years of experience to be a full-stack mechanical engineer at an early-stage robotics startup. The company builds and deploys robots for manufacturing environments using custom hardware and proprietary models. You will own parts cradle to grave, from concept through prototyping, testing, manufacturing and deployment, starting with robotic end effectors.
What will you be doing?
- Design robotic end effectors, then full robot systems and customer-side integrations
- Split your time about 50/50 between design and hands-on prototyping and testing
- Build your own test fixtures and run the tests yourself
- Take parts from prototype quantities (under 100) to scaled production with suppliers
- Integrate and deploy hardware into real manufacturing environments
This is a fully on-site role in San Francisco, CA, with a hands-on engineering culture focused on taking hardware from prototype into real production settings.
- 1+ years as a robotics hardware engineer or mechanical engineer
- CAD experience
