About the role

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Partner with a portable book of business of approximately $1M to join our Denver office. We are seeking an entrepreneurial and autonomous legal professional who is an expert in healthcare regulatory and compliance matters to help expand our specialized labor and employment practice.

Compensation includes a competitive structure with a transparent and fair model that lateral partner candidates often appreciate. Our firm supports entrepreneurial partners by offering the flexibility and autonomy to build and grow their practice without the bureaucracy associated with larger firms. Partners benefit from a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and cross-selling opportunities across our national network.

You will gain autonomy over your practice without the burden of servicing unrelated practice areas or navigating the complexities of large, full-service firms. Our exclusive focus on labor and employment law means you are not competing with other practice groups for resources, visibility, or client opportunities. You will have the freedom to dedicate your time and energy to growing your expertise and building your client base.

We are a leader in labor and employment law innovation, strategically integrating cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI and advanced analytics to streamline case analysis, legal research, and document review, while proactively developing forward-thinking solutions to address emerging workplace challenges. Legal professionals can focus more on high-value work and strategic decision-making.

Deep specialization in labor and employment law allows us to provide highly tailored, cutting-edge advice to clients and differentiates us from larger full-service firms. Associate, paralegal, legal assistant, and practice support staff are available, along with local and cross-office support. Resources for business development include mentorship, dedicated BD professionals, marketing materials, client introduction programs, personal branding, thought leadership, and media visibility.

Pro bono opportunities include employment advice for smaller non-profits and micro-businesses, military veteran clinic representation, asylum and related cases, domestic violence restraining orders, court-appointed representation of minors in family law proceedings, innocence project case screenings, community legal aid eviction defense and expungement clinics, and free legal answers projects, with other types of pro bono work considered. Incentive and community service programs support attorneys who complete qualifying pro bono and service hours.
