Join a high-growth startup as a foundational member of the engineering team to build a sophisticated platform powered by AI agents. You will be responsible for integrating frontier models into the core product to automate complex workflows, ensuring the platform can scale to support millions of users and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead core systems including real-time matching and autonomous vetting pipelines.
- Develop and maintain the core backend services and infrastructure for the platform.
- Define how AI agents are integrated across the stack to automate the service pipeline.
- Own platform architecture with a long-term vision for scalability and reliability.
- Build evaluation frameworks, including datasets, graders, and regression suites.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on multi-year technical roadmaps.
- Mentor and hire junior and mid-level engineers to grow the engineering team.
5 to 10 years of experience as a software engineer in early-stage engineering teams.
Proven track record of building 0-to-1 agentic AI products.
Expertise in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and data models using PostgreSQL and Kafka.
Strong product intuition and ability to navigate early-stage ambiguity.
Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced startup environment.
Experience with marketplace dynamics or multi-sided platforms.
